When floating is a way of life, you dont go out of business

I have always run home float centers. I was always available to the public. I never went out of business because floating is a way of life. The tank is here in my house. I dont pay commercial rent. I dont have a huge business overhead.I simply assist those who are curious and interested and receive a reasonable fee in exchange.

That’s how I operated in Columbus, OH in 2008

That’s how I operated in Margate, FL in 2011

Didnt advertise to the public in Yonkers, NY

Not currently advertising in South Florida.

It’s kind of like how certain spiritual practices meet in someone’s home for meditation – no one is there to rake in 6 figures. They just meet, perhaps pay some donations and then go on about their lives. For this reason Isolation Tank Gnosis is a religion where the temple is located in one’s home.

When a float business ends, they often sell their tanks

If floating is not in your DNA… if it is simply a paycheck, then you sell the tanks when you go out of business… and go on to something else? Hmm… Well, I guess Shane went on to other things after Zen Float Co went out of business. But I think that’s because he was devastated.
